Synopsis:

Consider the one-dimensional simple exclusion with a driven tagged particle: a collection of red particles and a green tagged particle perform continuous random walk on the lattice Z according to different jump rates p(.), q(.), and there is at most one particle at each site. We will study the long-time behavior of the displacement X_t of the tagged particle under different conditions on p(.) and q(.). For some asymmetric p(.), we will show an interesting scenario when the jump rate of the tagged particle has a negative mean \sum_z q(z) <0, but the speed of the tagged particle is positive. Two types of couplings in one-dimensional simple exclusion processes would be introduced.
