Spaces and Moduli Spaces of Positive Scalar Curvature Metrics

Synopsis:

We survey recent results on the topology of spaces of Riemannian metrics of positive scalar curvature on smooth manifolds, and of related moduli spaces. These are mainly based on classical index theory in combination with new insights on diffeomorphism groups of smooth manifolds.
