Back to work
I just got back from the Joint Math Meetings and had a great time. I interviewed candidates, gave a few talks (one on docutils, one on graduate student teaching development), watched a few talks, and met with new and old friends. I also did a lot of tweeting on the #JointMath channel.
Now I'm excited about a new academic term. I'll be teaching two sections of Calculus I and one of Discrete Math.
Movin' on Down
Sometime in the week of April 13 I'll be moving my office from WWH 718 to 624 (the building is being de-asbestos-ized floor-by-floor). My phone number will remain the same. Once it's official I'll update my contact info.
Office Hours
I'm in my office a lot, but I do set aside certain times when I'm available for students to ask questions about courses. Currently I'm syndicating office hours as an RSS feed so you can see the upcoming ones in the sidebar.
If you cannot make my office hours, or if you want to talk about something more personal or private, we can meet at other times. Everyone can always ask questions online. See Contact for ways to get in touch with me.
Brought to you by the Anarchists Organization...
I found this store on the NYU campus today:
After making more than one, the copies aren't unique any more. Sort of a strange business model, only selling one copy at a time.
