Synopsis:

We will discuss some recent results on singularity formation for
finite-energy strong solutions to the 2D Boussinesq and 3D Euler systems
based on the analysis of scale-invariant solutions. The work consists of
three parts: local well-posedness in critical spaces, the analysis of
scale-invariant solutions (which belong to those spaces), and then a
cut-off argument to ensure finite energy.

This is a joint work with I. Jeong.
