Florence is the city I spent the most time in. I also had the most fun here, helped in part by some people I met here, including Amy and Sylvia (and the rest of my regular tour group as well, of course!) The big building is Il Duomo, which translates to The House (ie of God). It is quite impressive. The funny 24-hour clock which runs backwards (and is broken) is inside Il Duomo. The large creature in the water is a gigantic rat. These legendary creatures dwell in the beautiful river Arno, keeping the water free of edible garbage and tourists. Some of the pictures in the middle are of an elaborate dinner we had at an old Italian family palace, which included strange forms of entertainment.
