Large Deviations for Random Walk in Random Environment

Synopsis:

In this survey talk, I will discuss both the quenched and averaged large deviations for random walk in random environment. In particular, I will talk about Rosenbluth's result on quenched LDP, Comets-Gantert-Zeitouni result on linking quenched and averaged LDP for one-dimensional case and finally Varadhan's result on averaged LDP.
